2011 Corey Brewer Tennessee Invitational

After a successful first annual tournament, the second annual Corey Brewer Tennessee Invitational basketball tournament is set to take place May 6-8, 2011. Register now for the 2011 tournament.

“The first year was a huge success despite the bad weather,” Afiba Dia Fairnot of VMG said. “We had teams from Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky and Indiana competing and we hope to add additional states to the field of competition in 2011.”

The tournament will take place at the Courts at A-Game Sportsplex in Franklin, Tennessee, which was the home site for the first year tournament. The Courts at A-Game is a world class facility located just 20 minutes outside of Nashville.

Ages for the tournament are from 2nd grade-11th grade boys. The registration deadline to register is April 25, 2011 or until the tournament is sold out.

The tournament format will consist of pool play with the top two teams in each bracket advancing to a single elimination tournament. There will be a minimum of 3 games scheduled for all teams.

An awards ceremony will be given to first and second place teams along with individual player honors.

Admission for the tournament will be $8.00 (daily) and $15.00 (weekend pass).
