Rockets forward Corey Brewer had one of his best shooting games of the season in Sunday’s tilt against the Raptors, making five 3-pointers and scoring 23 points, one shy of his season high. He had offered signs that was coming, making 25 of 48 shots in his past six games.

“Eventually, I’m going to get hot,” Brewer said. “I get hot every season. I’m glad it’s right now. I got hot at the right time.”

Rockets interim coach J.B. Bickerstaff said the timing of Brewer’s recent run is not a coincidence.
