Corey Brewer’s signature grin stayed plastered across his face as he shot and made dozens of 3-pointers at the end of practice Tuesday.
The Rockets forward hasn’t hit one in a game in almost a week, but he isn’t worried about it.
Brewer knows his shots will fall again – sooner than later, he hopes. In the meantime, as he has done for the past year, he will keep being the ball of energy the Rockets rely on off the bench every night.
After being traded from Minnesota a year ago, Brewer played his first game as a Rocket. The Rockets beat the Trail Blazers 110-95, and Brewer had 12 points and five steals.
He wore his new red-and-white No. 33 jersey with pride.
