Minnesota Timberwolves guard Corey Brewer has had a busy summer in preparations for his fourth season in the NBA.

Brewer, has worked out all over the country including stops in Chicago, Tampa, Washington D.C., Los Angeles, and a stop in Canada.

“It’s been a good experience this summer working out with different players and just seeing what everyone else does,” Brewer said.

While working out with some of his teammates, Corey has also worked out with some of the premier players in the NBA including Kevin Durant, who recently was the FIBA World Championships Most Valuable Player.

“Anytime you workout with a guy like Kevin your only going to get better,” Brewer added. “Kevin works really hard at being a great player and that rubs off on you.”

Besides getting ready for the upcoming season, Brewer hosted basketball camps in Gainesville, Florida and in his hometown of Portland, Tennessee.

“It’s always good going back to Gainesville and Portland,” Brewer said “

The Minnesota Timberwolves will start the Preseason in Europe as the team will take on the Los Angeles Lakes on October 4, in London. Two nights later they will take on the New York Knicks in Paris.

“It’s really exciting that we are going to Europe for the preseason,” Brewer added. “It will be a great chance for us to get to know my new teammates.”

Minnesota will open up the 2010-2011 season at home against the Sacramento Kings.
