The Los Angeles Lakers remained unbeaten Tuesday night with a 99-94 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Despite 27 turnovers the Timberwolves kept the two-time defending NBA champions at bay for most of the game.

Corey Brewer had another strong performance off the bench scoring 12 points. Brewer was one of five players to reach double figures in points for the Timberwolves.

Kevin Love had a big night with 23 points and a career-high 24 boards. Michael Beasley scored 17 points for the Wolves.

Injuries have been a big problem for the Timberwolves all-season long at the point guard position as Luke Ridnour and Jonny Flynn are out.  Sebastian Telfair started at the point and finished with 12 points and nine assists.

Kobe Bryant poured in 33 points for the victorious Lakers. Pau Gasol finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Lamar Odom added 15 points as he was marked with foul trouble through out the night, but came up big with two crucial baskets in the final minutes of the game.

The Lakers have won 12 straight against the Timberwolves.

Minnesota has lost six straight games and is 1-7 for the season. The Lakers are one of two teams in the NBA that are unbeaten New Orleans (7-0).

The Timberwolves will be back in action Wednesday night against the Sarcramento Kings (3-3).
