Corey Brewer came off the bench to score a season-high 18 points. Brewer also finished the game with five steals. Kevin Love and Wesley Johnson also scored 18-points in the loss. Wesley Johnson finished the game with four three-pointers in 35 minutes of action.

Michael Beasley added 16 points after an injury kept him on the sidelines after missing Wednesday night’s game against the Orlando Magic.

Jamal Crawford came off the bench to score 22 points as the Atlanta Hawks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 113-103 Friday night at the Target Center.

Joe Smith had 20 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. Mike Bibby had 15 points and Al Horford finished with 14 points and 12 boards. Joe Johnson added 11 points and five assists.

The Wolves tried to make a game out of in the fourth quarter as Sebastian Telfair knocked down a couple of three-point shots. Brewer had a steal and a dunk that cut the Hawks lead to 94-87. Crawford came down the floor on the next possession and knocked down a three to put the lead back to 10. The Wolves ran out of gas down the stretch as that was close as it would get.

With the win the Hawks remain the only unbeaten team in the Eastern Conference with a 6-0 record. The Timberwolves dropped to 1-5 for the season.

Minnesota will be on the road Sunday night against the Houston Rockets.
