The Detroit Pistons defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 103-98 Wednesday night at the Target Center.

Timberwolves guard Corey Brewer scored a game and career-high 27 points in the loss. Brewer finished the game red hot 10 of 15 from the field, while dishing out four assists.

He previously scored 27 points on December 26 against the Washington Wizards.

The Timberwolves had a 58-48 lead at the half, but the home team was outscored 35-19 in the final stanza as the Pistons pulled away late in the contest.

Al Jefferson scored 16 points and pulled down 11 boards. Darko Millcic finished with 15 points and six boards.

Tayshaun Prince paced the visitors in scoring with 20 points. The Timberwolves finished the season 15-67 and 10-31 at the Target Center.

Charlie Villanueva scored 13 of his 16 points in the fourth quarter comeback. The Pistons were down as much as 16 points during the quarter.
